Dreaming it.

This amazing journey began during a father and son adventure vacation in April of 2015 to the Blue Creek Nature Preserve in Belize. The idea of a Zip Line was planted from not only a great experience while enjoying the Zip Line there but I meet the Owner and the Builder. During our conversation their Parks Builder asked me,

“How many ziplines are in Bermuda?”, I easily replied, “None!” It was then that we decided, let’s introduce Bermuda to its very first Zip Line Experience.

In May that year, the Escape from Devils Isle Canopy Zip Line concept was born.

And since tourists to Bermuda had been asking where they could go for a Zip Line adventure, this made perfect sense!!!

Building it.

The right Location has always been critical. Southlands Park is not just a Hidden Gem, along with its mature forest, it also proves to be the best site for this amazing adventure.

The selection process has taken hard work and determination.

First came the education on Zip Lines, to do so we joined the Association of Challenge Course Technology, becoming a member in 2017.

This knowledge has helped guide us, leading us to receiving our Approval in Principle on April 25th, 2022. We then became a registered company and had a Builders Site Survey and Design done. Once these were approved we started on our way!

Growing it.

As with any major project worth doing, this adventure has had to go through various phases of Government and Design approvals.

As we await these final approvals to start and complete the building of these four courses and meet the Commissioning Standards and Certifications by the ACCT we now expect to open our Doors soon! One critical element that is missing: You, the Adventure Seeker!

We are offering a chance for everyone to be a part of this! Being a Retired US Navy Special Operation Veteran, I have proven the fortitude time and again required to aim for the long haul. No mission is ever completed without a strong support team backing up the forward operators, those who believe in the mission and its success to make it happen.

Imagine, the very first Zip Line Adventure, geared to every age and level on an island with numerous Cruise Ship visitors and other tourist annually, that thrive on Adventure..

We know we can capture 30,000 of the island’s roughly 600,000 visitors each year.

This is also for Bermuda. As Zip Lines are popular and a big draw. Our Zip Line will employ locally and help supports the local community and we look forward to hosting our local schools, families and businesses as guest.

We will operate Four Zip Line Courses, These include, Escape from Devils Isle, for ages 10 and up, Tree Frogs Adventure for those ages 4 and above so families can share quality time together, the Bermuda Triangle Challenge, for those who desire to test their skills and the Longtails Flight!!.
